Installing Spyware Removal Software

This is generally regarded as the best program for removing unwanted programs that have found their way onto your PC. Please note, I am just passing on the instructions & cannot be held accountable in the very unlikely event anything goes wrong..

1. Go to download website

2. In search field type 'spybot' and select 'in downloads'

3. When you find the following program - click on 'download now'

4. When prompted, save to hard drive in usual way (remember where you saved it)

5. When finished, click 'open folder' or navigate to location of file - file is called 'spybotsd13' - double click to start program

6. Choose 'English' as setup language

7. Click 'Next'

8. Accept Agreement

9. Accept Defaults, click 'next'

10. Make sure 'custom' installation is highlighted, click 'next', then 'install'

11. Click 'next' to create new folder

12. Additional Tasks - make sure only 'desktop icons' is clicked

13. 'Install' then 'Finish' - program will run automatically

14. Click 'next' three times, then choose 'Start Using Program', then 'Check For Problems'

15. Finally, when complete (after about ten minutes) you will be given a list of problems identified, click on 'Fix Selected Problems' to remove.
